Freshman Jared Mscisz (Danvers, Mass.) submitted another stellar opening round with a 2-under 70 at the Le Moyne Fall Invitational on Friday, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team is in a three-way tie for third through the first 18 holes at the Lake Shore Yacht Club in Cicero, N.Y.  

INDIVIDUAL SCORERS

• Mscisz himself is in a three-way tie for third - just two shots off the pace.
• Sophomore Matt Conti (Walpole, Mass.) is tied for 10th with a 1-over 73.
• Senior Garret Olivar (Manchester, N.H.) shot a 76 and is tied for 31st.
• Freshman Jeff Liss (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) rounded out the Penmen scorers with a 77 that has him tied for 36th.

NOTES

• Senior Ryan Anderson (Beverly, Mass.) did not factor into the scoring with a 78 and is in a tie for 44th.
• Fellow sophomore Brennan Hughes (Bedford, N.H.), playing as an individual, is tied for 17th with a 2-over 74.
• Senior Jacob Rosen (Johnson, R.I.), also playing as an individual, carded a 78.
• Laval University (293) leads host Le Moyne College (295) by two strokes, with SNHU (296) in a three-way tie for third place.
• Le Moyne's Ryan Johnson (68) holds a one-shot lead over Laval's Baptiste Mory (69).
• The Le Moyne Fall Invitational is comprised of 90 golfers from 15 institutions.
