Seniors Karlee Ziliak (Evansville, Ind.) and Molly Terry (Shrewsbury, Mass.) each scored 13 points to lead the Southern New Hampshire University women's basketball team to a 69-57 triumph over Saint Michael's College on Wednesday evening in Northeast-10 action at the Ross Sports Center.

KEY MOMENTS
- Southern New Hampshire, which never trailed in the contest, held a 40-30 advantage coming out of the locker room when an 18-4 burst - led by seven points from Ziliak - opened the largest lead of the night for the Penmen at 58-34 with 1:10 remaining in the third quarter.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Emma MacDonough led all scorers with 16 points (7-17 FG, 2-8 3-FG) for the Purple Knights.
- The Penmen outshot the Purple Knights, 44.4 percent (28-63) to 31.2 percent (24-77), while Saint Michael's returned the favor from long range, 30.4 percent (7-23) to 22.2 percent (4-18).
- Neither team shot it particularly well at the line, but SNHU was plus-7 from the stripe and shot it better, 56.3 percent (9-16) to 50 percent (2-4).
- The Penmen captured the glass (51-43) and the paint (40-28), and received more scoring from their bench (24-11), while the Purple Knights held a slight edge in points off turnovers (8-7) and second chance points (13-12), and featured a better assist-to-turnover ratio (16/9-11/16).
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire has now won two straight.
- Despite trailing in the all-time series, 31-19, SNHU has now captured four of the last five meetings versus the Purple Knights.
