Corcoran Finishes 71st at NCAA Div. II Cross Country Championships

Saturday race brings 2021 season to a close

When and Where: Sat. November 20, 2021 - St. Leo, Fla. (The Abbey Course) 

Graduate student Ashley Corcoran (East Longmeadow, Mass.) placed 71st for the Southern New Hampshire University cross country team at Saturday's NCAA Division II National Championship at St. Leo, Fla.

Corcoran finished the 6k race in 21:52.1, the fifth fastest in program history.   SNHU records show Ashley has five of the six fastest times in program history at the distance.    250 runners finished the women's race.

NOTES
  • Adams State won the 2021 DII women's cross country final with a score of 59, 20 points better than runner-up Grand Valley State.
  • Among NE10 schools competing as a team,  American International College finished 28th and Stonehill College was 31st.
