Junior Matt Conti (Walpole, Mass.) fired a 4-under 67 for his first collegiate win, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team defeated Bentley University, 287-295, Tuesday at Green Meadow Golf Club.

INDIVIDUAL SCORERS

• Conti sank a match-best five birdies to win by two strokes.
• Sophomore Jared Mscisz (Danvers, Mass.) took second with a 2-under 69.
• Freshman AJ Cavotta (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.), who was third, also finished under par with a 1-under 70 in his first collegiate event.
• Freshman Nick Tufts (Auburn, N.H.) rounded out the Penmen scorers with an 81.

NOTES

• Junior Sam Henrie (Middleboro, Mass.) did not factor into the scoring and shot an 86.
