Eight from Field Hockey Touted as NFHCA Scholars of Distinction

BROCKPORT, N.Y. – Student-athletes from the Southern New Hampshire University field hockey team made up eight of the 140 spots on the 2020 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II Scholars of Distinction list that was announced Wednesday morning.

The Division II Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2020-21 academic year. Slippery Rock University placed the most student-athletes on the Scholars of Distinction list this year with 12 honorees, while SNHU tallied the fifth most selections in the country.
