Junior Matt Conti (Walpole, Mass.) turned in a 1-over 72 to lead the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team to its second win of the season Thursday at the Granite State Spring Invitational at Candia Woods.
INDIVIDUAL SCORERS
- Conti, who recorded his first collegiate win two days prior, finished second, overall.
- Freshman AJ Cavotta (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) placed third for the second straight event, submitting a 2-over 73.
- Sophomore Jared Mscisz (Danvers, Mass.) tied for fifth with a 4-over 75.
- Freshman Nick Tufts (Auburn, N.H.) slotted in eighth with a 5-over 76.
NOTES
- Sophomore Andrew Tache (Northborough, Mass.) did not factor into the scoring and shot a 115.
- SNHU finished five strokes ahead of runner-up Franklin Pierce University.
- FPU's Sam Myers was the individual medalist with a 1-under 70.
