Junior Chris Valentine (Derry, N.H.) tallied four times, all in the first quarter, as Southern New Hampshire topped Assumption 13-9 in an NE10 Men's Lacrosse contest on Wednesday afternoon in Worcester, Mass.

KEY MOMENTS
- After assisting on David Wiedenfeld's goal to open the scoring, Valentine scored four straight goals to give the Penmen a 5-0 lead.
- Jacobsen's man-up goal with 1:01 left in the first quarter made it 6-0.
- Terrones tallied three times in the second quarter, including a pair of goals in the final 1:05 of the half to give the Penmen a 9-2 lead at the break.
- The Greyhounds closed to within 11-6 late in the third quarter, but goals by Jacobsen and Wiedenfeld built the lead back to seven.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- DePaul made his first start in goal to earn his first win.
- Assumption outshot the Penmen 50-44. SNHU won 13 of 25 faceoffs.
NOTES
- The win was the first for SNHU over Assumption since March 16, 2013. The Greyhounds had won six straight in the series.
