The Penmen (8-0), ranked 12th in the latest National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division II Poll, went a perfect 4-0 last week, as they outscored Saint Amselm College, 46-7, in a four-game sweep.

Praml, who earns the honor for the first time this season and third time in his career, went the distance in Friday's 7-0 game-two victory against Saint Anselm, as he tossed seven shutout innings, allowing just two hits, while striking out 11 and not walking a batter. Praml, who has allowed just one earned run over his last 33-and-a-third innings dating back to last season, retired the final 12 batters he faced, including eight via strikeout.

Praml and the Penmen are back in action Saturday, April 17 when they travel to take on Saint Michael's College in a doubleheader that begins at 1 p.m.
