(Hooksett, N.H.) - Graduate student David Wiedenfeld (Londonderry, N.H.) and junior Chris Valentine (Derry, N.H.) combined to score seven goals as SNHU handled American International College 15-5 on Saturday afternoon at Penmen Stadium.

KEY MOMENTS
  • Jacobsen opened the scoring at 10:38 of the first quarter, and the Penmen did not give up the lead the rest of the afternoon.
  • After AIC tied the contest to open the second half on a goal by Clark Marchand, SNHU reeled off 11 consecutive goals.
  • Terrones scored the game-winning goal at 9:52 of the third quarter, and AIC did not score again until the final 1:52 of the game.
  • Wiedenfeld scored all three of his goals in the fourth quarter as the Penmen built a double-digit lead.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
  • Kozikowski played the entire game in goal, finishing with 10 saves.
  • SNHU had a 43-33 edge in shots, and the Penmen won 18 of the 23 face-offs - sophomore Gennaro Marra (Hampstead, N.H.) won 15 of the 20 faceoffs he was involved with.
NOTES
  • Wiedenfeld is now tied for second in the NE10 with 30 points (14 goals, 16 assists).
  • SNHU improves to 19-2 in all-time meetings with the Yellow Jackets.  The Penmen have won the last nine meetings with AIC.
  • The game served as "Senior Day" for those players leaving the program - Wiedenfeld, Jacobsen, Dubois, Kozikowski, and Jake Bridge (Woburn, Mass.)
