Junior Matt Conti (Walpole, Mass.) carded a two-round total of 151, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team finished fourth at the Northeast-10 Championship on Tuesday at Springfield Country Club.

INDIVIDUAL SCORERS

• Conti finished fourth, overall, and was four shots back of the winner. He shot a 76 in the first round and then bettered it by one stroke the second round.
• Sophomore Jared Mscisz (Danvers, Mass.) turned in a 155, as he opened with a 76, before adding a 79 to tie for 14th, overall.
• Freshman AJ Cavotta (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) tied for 18th in his first conference championship, shooting a 78 and then a 79 for a two-round total of 157.
• Freshman Nick Tufts (Auburn, N.H.) matched his classmate's 157 (79/78).

NOTES

• Redshirt-sophomore Andrew Tache (Northborough, Mass.) did not factor into the scoring with a 228.
• SNHU's 309 had it tied for third at the end of the first round.
• Le Moyne College captured the event with a 607, which was 11 strokes ahead of Franklin Pierce University and Assumption University.
• Le Moyne's Nicholas Bove won individual medalist honors with a 3-over 147, which was just one stroke ahead of FPU's Michael Sosik.
• The NE10 Championship was comprised of 44 golfers from nine different institutions.

• The Penmen will await the Friday, April 23 (6 p.m.) NCAA Selection Show to see if they will earn a bid to the NCAA postseason.
