KEY MOMENTS - GAME 2
- Griffin picked up her sixth consecutive winning decision since a loss March 25 to Assumption.

- The Penmen opened a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Griffin singled and stole second, scoring on a base hit by Critch. A single by senior Jackie Gavin (East Bridgewater, Mass.) moved Critch to third, and senior Shay Sauvageau (Griswold, Conn.) then followed an RBI single.
- Assumption managed to score single runs in the top of the third and fourth innings to tie the game, but both innings ended on spectacular defense plays. With the bases loaded, freshman Shannon Gifford (Goffstown, N.H.) started an inning-ending 5-2-3 double play after fielding a grounder off the bat of Bialakis.
- Sophomore Bryn Garczynski (Norwood, Mass.) laid out to catch a fly to centerfield to end the Greyhound threat in the fourth with the bases loaded.
- The Penmen reclaimed the lead in the fourth inning. Sauvageau reached on an error and senior Coralie Mathieu (Methuen, Mass.) doubled her home. Griffin's sacrifice fly plated Mathieu for a 4-2 lead.
- SNHU's final runs, in the sixth, came with the bases loaded. Gifford flew out to deep center, but both freshman Bella Dickinson (Scarborough, Maine) and Griffin scored on the play.
