(Boston, Mass.) - Five distance runners, members of the SNHU Women's Track & Field Team, raced Friday at the John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University.
RESULTS
- Sophomore Kaitlyn O'Rourke (Braintree, Mass.) had a 5:16.89 in the mile run and sophomore Sabrina Hanock (Derby, Conn.) came in at 5:54.90.
- Graduate student Ashley Corcoran (East Longmeadow, Mass.) finished in 29th place in the 3000 meter race.
- The two other Penmen competing ran in the 5000 meter race. Sophomore Kelsey Seamans (Methuen, Mass.) turned in an 18:10.04 and junior Sarah Zarakotas (Deerfield, N.H.) crossed the finish line four slots behind Seamans with a 18:28.36.
NOTES
- The Penmen have been searching for opportunities for indoor athletes to compete with the Northeast-10 Championships just four weeks away.
- The NE10 will crown its champions at the Reggie Lewis Center on February 24-25.
