Four SNHU program records were broken as Women's Track & Field finished in third place at the Northeast-10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The 2025 meet was held at Ouellette Stadium in Hooksett.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Junior Hope Sinclair (Hampton, N.H.) finished sixth in the 100m at 11.90 seconds, which while wind-assisted, is a new personal best. She also finished 14th in the 200m at 25.36.
- Freshman Hannah Sippel (Chester, N.H.) finished 23rd in the 200m with a time of 26.18. She finished 16th in the 400m at 59.44.
- Freshman Hope Hanafin (Burlington, Mass.) also qualified for the 400m, finishing 22nd in 1:00.93, just missing her season-best mark of 1:00.91.
- Freshman Erika Wojcik (North Andover, Mass.) ran the 800m, coming in 11th at 2:17.42.
- Freshman Paige McInerney (Acton, Mass.) finished 17th in the 800m at 2:19.22.
- Sophomore Jordan Wheaton (Hooksett, N.H.) ran 20th in the 100H wtih a time of 14.94 seconds.
- Junior Corrina Obernesser (Westminster, Colo.) turned in another strong effort in the 3000S, finishing 7th in 11:12.68.
- Graduate student Laila Bunnitt (Lewiston, Maine) had her day cut short due to injury, but finished 14th in the hammer throw at 44.37m
- Sophomore Kayla Franks (Derry, N.H.) earned the other two scoring points on the day for the Penmen by finishing seventh in the javelin throw (37.73m)
NOTES
- UMass Amherst won the team competition with 136 points, ahead of the University of Rhode Island (106.33), and the College of the Holy Cross (92).
