(Boston, Mass.) - Graduate student Ashley Corcoran (East Longmeadow, Mass.) ran the fastest mile in SNHU program history in 4:51.44 at the NEICAAA New England Championships. It was the 17th fastest in NCAA Division II this season.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Corcoran finished in third place in the mile run, won by Angelia Rafter of Central Connecticut in 4:44.96.
- Senior Meghan Stroh (New Fairfield, Conn.) ran a 58.01 to finish third in the 400m, a new indoor PR for her.
- Sophomore Kelsey Seamans (Methuen, Mass.) finished sixth in the 3000m race, running a new personal best of 10:19.54.
- Junior Sarah Zarakotas (Deerfield, N.H.) also turned in a PR in the 3000m race at 10:25.05.
NOTES
- The Penmen will head to the David Hemery Valentine Invite next weekend, hosted by Boston University.
- The NE10 will crown its champions at the Reggie Lewis Center on February 24-25.
