PITTSBURG, Kansas. - Graduate student Ashley Corcoran (East Longmeadow, Mass.) finished 16th in the first round of the women's mile at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday.  Corcoran's time for the mile was 4:53.22, and she did not qualify for the finals on Saturday.  The top nine athletes earned a berth in that race.

Corcoran owns the fastest mile in SNHU program history, 4:51.44, run at the New England Championships last month.  That time, 25th best in the nation this season, qualified her for the NCAA Championships.
