(Hooksett, N.H.) - The Women's Track & Field team headed to the George Davis Invitational at UMass-Lowell.
SNHU HIGHLIGHTS
- Senior Meghan Stroh (New Fairfield, Conn.) had three top-three finishes. She ran second in the 200m (25.48), second in the 400m (58.27) and was third as a member of the 4x100 relay team with sophomore Emma Hallet (Billerica, Mass.), sophomore Ava Gravell (Windham, N.H.), and fresman Tori Allen (Litchfield, N.H.).
- Gravell set two PR's, finishing third in the 200m (25.65) and 13th in the long jump (5.29m).
- Sophomore Kaitlyn O'Rourke (Braintree, Mass.) set a PR in the 800m with a 9th place finish in 2:21.41.
- Sophomore Sydney Eccleston (Swanzey, N.H.) set PR's on Saturday in both the 100m (13.72) and 400 hurdles (1:11.96).
- Sophomore Riley McDermott (Kennebunkport, Maine) ran an 11:09.29 in the 3000m, a new PR, while finishing 10th.
- Sophomore Sabrina Hanock (Derby, Conn.) also ran a PR in the 3000m with 11:14.27.
- Graduate student Ashley Corcoran (East Longmeadow, Mass.) finished fourth in the 5000m at 17:32.79. Her time was the top by an NCAA East Region Div. II athlete this season.
- Senior Jordan Woodford (Berkley, Mass.) had two PRs on the day - running 16.80 in the 100H, and scoring a 10.08m for her triple jump.
- Junior Madison McMahon (East Longmeadow, Mass.) finished third this week in the high jump (1.55m). She also set a new PR as the team's top finisher in the long jump (5.32m).
- Graduate student Tatyanna Beckford (Orange, N.J.) competed in three events, setting a new PR's for discus (33.13m) and javelin (35.01m).
UP NEXT
- SNHU will compete at Stonehill's Skyhawk Invitational next Saturday, the final meet before the Northeast-10 Championships on May 6-7 at Stonehill.
