(Hooksett, N.H.) - The Women's Track & Field team competed Saturday at Stonehill College, where next weekend's Northeast-10 Championships will be held. The Penmen finished fifth with half of the field coming from Division I schools.
SNHU HIGHLIGHTS
- Sophomore Ava Gravell (Windham, N.H.) set a PR in the 400m with a run of 58.96, finishing second. She also finished third in the long jump (5.27m).
- Graduate student Jill Couto (Newton Junction, N.H.) finished second in the 800m (2:17.03).
- It was a new PR for sophomore Kaitlyn O'Rourke (Braintree, Mass.) in the 1500m (4:43.71). That was good for fourth place.
- Sophomore Riley McDermott (Kennebunkport, Maine) also ran a PR in the 1500m at 5:08.41.
- Sophomore Sabrina Hanock (Derby, Conn.) came in second in the 5000m.
- Sophomore Sydney Eccleston (Swanzey, N.H.) ran a PR for the second consecutive week in the 400H (1:11.79).
- Junior Madison McMahon (East Longmeadow, Mass.) had a pair or runner-up finishes in the high jump and long jump, and had a career-best throw in the shot put on Saturday.
- Freshman Tori Allen (Litchfield, N.H.) finished third in the high jump.
- Graduate student Tatyanna Beckford (Orange, N.J.) finished third in the javelin, and set a new PR in the shot put (11.31m).
- Freshman Morgan Cooledge (Westbrook, Maine) had her best toss of the season in the javelin (31.81m).
