Penmen Send Pair to New England Championships Friday

When and Where: May 13, 2022 - Smithfield, R.I. (Bryant Track & Turf Complex)

(Smithfield, R.I.) - The SNHU women's track & field team sent two members to compete during the first day of the New England Championships on Friday at Bryant University.

 

  • Sophomore Ava Gravell (Billerica, Mass.), who ran a personal best 12.41 in the 100m at last week's Northeast-10 Championships, just missed that mark with a 12.50 on Friday, finishing 17th.
  • Gravell ran to a 23rd place finish at 200m.  Her time of 25.73 seconds was just off her personal best of 25.65.
  • Sophomore Emma Hallet (Billerica, Mass.) competed in the 100H and high jump on Friday.
  • Hallet turned in a 1.60m for the high jump, finishing 17th.
