Laila Bunnitt (Lewiston, Maine) opened her season with fourth-place finishes in the shot put and weight throw as SNHU competed Saturday at the Dartmouth December Invite in Hanover, N.H.
NOTES
- Bunnitt set a new PR in the weight throw (14.63m), finishing fourth. She also finished fourth in the shot put (11.75m)
- Sophomore Maggie McInerney (Acton, Mass.) finished fourth in the 60H in 9.96. On Friday, during the Pentathlon, McInerney had run a new personal best 9.82. She finished sixth in that event.
- Senior Emma Hallet (Billerica, Mass.) followed up her fifth place finish in the Pentathlon with a fifth in the 60H in 10.07.
- Sophomore Brooke Bibbo (Burlington, Mass.) opened her season with a fifth-place finish in the shot put (10.85m).
- Sophomore Hope Sinclair (Hampton, N.H.) ran 8.08 in the 60m, finishing fifth in that event.
- SNHU sent a small group of athletes to compete at Dartmouth, which won the meet. Athletes from the University of Vermont and Williams College also took part.

- Â The Penmen will return to action after the holiday break on Saturday, January 6 at the University of Southern Maine.
