MANSFIELD, Mass. - SNHU men's lacrosse earned two weekly awards from the Northeast-10 Conference it was announced on Monday afternoon.
Senior
Ryan Auger (Hampstead, N.H.) was named NE10 Player of the Week after scoring 11 points in wins over Assumption University and American International College. Auger had two goals and two assists against the Greyhounds, and added a goal and six assists against the Yellow Jackets. Auger leads the Penmen with 16 goals and 16 assists in seven games this season.
Senior Ben Yanankakis (Ipswich, Mass.) earned his first NE10 Defensive Player of the Week, helping lead the efforts to the wins. He had five ground balls and three caused turnovers in the wins.
The Penmen will head to Albany, N.Y. to play The College of Saint Rose this Wednesday afternoon. The next home game for SNHU will be Wed. April 19 against Franklin Pierce University.
