Southern New Hampshire University opened the Indoor Track & Field season Sunday, sending several athletes to Boston for Northeastern's Joe Donahue Games.
NOTES
- Freshman Hannah Sippel (Chester, N.H.) competed at her first collegiate meet, topping SNHU runners while finishing third at 60m. Her time was 8.04 seconds in the finals after qualifying at 7.99 seconds. She also ran fourth in the 200m in 26.69.
- Junior Hope Sinclair (Hampton, N.H.) was fourth in the 60m at 8.08 (qualifying in 7.95) and finished fifth in the 200m in 27.07.
- Freshman Hope Hanafin (Burlington, Mass.) was sixth at 8.34 in the 60m and the team's best time in the 300m in 43.30.
- Sophomore Madison Lyons (Manchester, Conn.) set a new PR while running 8th at 60m in 8.51 seconds and a new PR in the 300m (44.85).
- Junior Maggie McInerney (Acton, Mass.) won the 200m with a 26.07, just off her career mark of 26.05.
- Senior Tori Allen (Litchfield, N.H.) set a new PR in the 60H with a 9.83 seconds while also competing at 200m and 300m.
- Graduate student Laila Bunnitt (Lewiston, Maine) opened her season with a new PR in the weight throw, finishing 3rd at 15.40m.
- Junior Brooke Bibbo (Burlington, Mass.) led the Penmen with a fourth-place finish in the shot put at 11.15m.
- Teammates sophomore Kayla Franks (Derry, N.H.) and senior Morgan Cooledge (Westbrook, Maine) both recorded new personal marks in the shot put.

- The Penmen will compete at the University of Southern Maine's USM Alumni Open next Saturday (12/14) in Gorham, Maine.
