Hannah Bradbury Scores Two Wins As Indoor T&F Wins Saturday Meet

SNHU Wins Panther Invitational II Saturday

Senior Hannah Bradbury (Seekonk, Mass.) won the 800m and ran on the winning 4x800 relay as Indoor Track & Field scored a team win on Saturday at Plymouth State's Panther Invitational II.  The meet served as the final prep for the Penmen ahead of the Northeast-10 Indoor Championships in a two weeks.

TOP PERFORMANCES
  • Bradbury led a 1-2-3-4 finish for the Penmen in the 800m race with a winning time of 2:26.13.
  • Senior Kaitlyn O'Rourke (Braintree, Mass.) ran 2:27.41, sophomore Anne Wiersma (Veldhoven, Netherlands) 2:27.83, and sophmore Corrina Obernesser (Westminster, Colo.) 2:30.11 followed Bradbury.
  • The quartet also comprised the winning 4x800 meter relay team with a time of 10:04.33.
  • SNHU also ran third in the 4x800 relay with the legs run by senior Kelsey Seamans (Methuen, Mass.), senior Riley McDermott (Kennebunkport, Maine), freshman Deirdre Bailat (Billerica, Mass.), and freshman Aveline McCabe (White Bear Lake, Minn.).
  • Seamans set a new Plymouth Indoor mark with a 5:16.52, winning the mile race.  It was also a new personal best at the distance.
  • McCabe ran a PR while finishing third in the mile (5:30.33), with Bailat in fourth, McDermott seventh, and freshman Katie Kraft (Londonderry, N.H.) in ninth.
  • The SNHU 4x200 relay team of senior Emma Hallet (Billerica, Mass.), senior Theresa Irving (Penacook, N.H.), freshman Madison Lyons (Manchester, Conn.), and sophomore Hope Sinclair (Hampton, N.H.) finishing second.
  • Hallet and sophomore Maggie McInerney (Acton, Mass.) finished third and fourth in the 60m hurdles, and Hallet added a second in the high jump (1.56m).
  • Sinclair stretched out to run the 400m, finishing fourth in 1:07.70.
  • Sophomore Emily Charest (Methuen, Mass.) finished second in the 3000m race at 11:45.92.
  • Senior Laila Bunnitt (Lewiston, Maine) won Saturday's weight thorw with a Plymouth Indoor record of 14.59m – just off her career best of 14.63m.
  • Bunnitt finished third in the shot put (11.23m) with sophomore Brooke Bibbo (Burlington, Mass.) in fourth at 10.67m and junior Rachel Gizzonio (Milford, N.H.) in sixth at 10.11m, a personal best.
NOTES
  • SNHU (139) finished ahead of Saint Anselm College (96), Plymouth State (78) and Keene State (68.5) to claim the women's title.
  • The Penmen also finished first in the Panther Invitational I on January 20.

  • The Penmen will use the next two weeks to prepare for the Northeast-10 Indoor Track & Field Championships on February 16-17 at the Track at New Balance in Boston, Mass.
