Senior Ava Gravell (Windham, N.H.) won the 400m as Women's Track & Field tuned up for the NE10 Championships on Saturday at the University of New Hampshire.

TOP PERFORMANCES
  • Gravell won the 400m in 57.15 seconds and finished eighth in the long jump at 5.52m, the best jump recorded by an SNHU athlete this season.
  • Sophomore Hope Sinclair (Hampton, N.H.) ran a spectacular 200m, finishing third in a new PR (26.45).  The race was run into the wind (-2.6).
  • Sophomore Corrina Obernesser (Westminster, Colo.) turned in a personal best in the 800m at 2:25.59 while finishing 13th overall. 
  • Junior Morgan Cooledge (Westbrook, Maine) finished fifth in the javelin (32.75m), tops on the team in the event.
  • Senior Laila Bunnitt (Lewiston, Maine) finished eighth in the shot put with a season-best throw of 11.89m.
  • Senior Emma Hallet (Billerica, Mass.) had a career-best throw in the shot put (10.26m).
  • Sophomore Brooke Bibbo (Burlington, Mass.) improved her best hammer throw to 32.48m
NOTES
  • There was no team scoring for the meet.
  • SNHU did not compete in the distance events.
