Tori Allen (Litchfield, N.H.) sits in third place in the heptathlon after the first day of the NEICAAA Track & Field Championships in Worcester, Mass.
NOTES
- Allen, who is coming off a third-place finish in the heptathlon at last week's Northeast-10 Track & Field Championships, is in third after the first four events held on Friday.
- Senior Ava Gravell (Windham, N.H.) qualified for tomorrow's final in the 400m. She had the seventh fastest time Friday in 57.97.
- SNHU senior Emma Hallet (Billerica, Mass.) ran the 100 hurdles on Friday but failed to qualify for the finals.
- Sophomore Hope Sinclair (Hampton, N.H.) ran the 100m in 12.52 seconds, good for 15th place in the race. Sinclair also ran 27.00 in the 200m.
- Freshman Deirdre Bailat (Billerica, Mass.) ran the 5000m in 19:23.24, finishing 25th.
- These championships represent the 135th edition for the men and the 48th for the women in what are the second-oldest collegiate outdoor track & field championships in the U.S.
