SNHU Indoor Track & Field competed for the first time in 2025 at the Suffolk University Relays in Boston on Saturday.
HIGHLIGHTS
• The meet drew a large contingent of athletes from all divisions - there were more than 700 women pre-entries.
Top 10 Finishes for SNHU:
• Freshman
Hope Hanafin (Burlington, Mass.) finished 8th in her first try at 400m in 1:02.42 and also competed in the 200m.
• Freshman
Hannah Sippel (Chester, N.H.) was seventh in the 200m Open Division at 26.87 and she also finished the 500m in 1:23.01 for ninth place.
• Junior
Hope Sinclair (Hampton, N.H.) finished ninth in the 60m prelims, just missing the event finals. Her time was 8.07.
• Graduate student
Laila Bunnitt (Lewiston, Maine) finished ninth in the weight throw at 14.11m. She also finished 14th in the shot put at 10.78m.
• Freshman
Paige McInerney (Acton, Mass.) wound up ninth in the 1000m at 3:08.95, a new PR.
Also of note:

Brooke Bibbo (Burlington, Mass.) also competed in the shot put (10.02m).
• Junior
Anne Wiersma (Veldhoven, Netherlands) set a new mark at 3:18.54 for the 1000m.
• Sophomore
Madison Lyons (Manchester, Conn.) earned a new PR in the 200m at 28.22.
• Freshman
Ari Hettrick-Rivera (East Hampton, Conn.) improved her time in the mile at 6:02.98.
• Newcomer
Paige Zimmerman (Bedford, N.H.) made her collegiate debut with runs in the 60m and 200m.
