Meghan Gordon (Attleboro, Mass.) pumped in 17 points as Southern New Hampshire Women's Basketball snapped a four-game skid with a 64-58 win over visiting New Haven Tuesday night at the Stan Spirou Field House.

KEY MOMENTS
- SNHU opened an early 8-2 lead with Hughes hitting a pair of buckets in the early action.
- The teams played even through the rest of the quarter with the Penmen up 16-11 after one.
- A three-point field goal with 3:17 to play in the half by Charlotte Basset gave New Haven it's first lead, and Bassett would connect on two more field goals as the Charger lead grew to 30-24 at halftime.
- It took SNHU less than three minutes of the third quarter to draw even at 33-33 on a pair of free throws by senior Sydnie DeVries (Monson, Mass.)
- The Penmen would take the lead at 43-42 on a pair of free throws by freshman Samantha Pfeil (Methuen, Mass.) with 1:21 to play in the third and would not give the lead up for the rest of the contest.
- Key free throw shooting - SNHU went 10-of-12 in the fourth quarter and 22-of-24 (91.7%) for the game - helped the Penmen earn the win.

- The 22 made free throws were one shy of the season-high 23 recorded against Post University on November 8, although that was on 37 attempts.
- New Haven leads the all-time series with the Penmen 38-27, although SNHU has won five of the last six meetings. New Haven won the first meeting this year 69-60.
- SNHU improves to 69-35 (.663) since the 2021-22 season started.
