MANCHESTER, N.H. – Junior
Ian Goulet (Cumberland, R.I.) of the Southern New Hampshire University men's soccer team and senior
Imogen Noon (Gold Coast, Australia) have raised more then $5,000 for Team IMPACT during its All In Anywhere 5K challenge, which runs for more than two more months.
Goulet and Noon's Team SNHU has raised 5,355.47 and currently places fourth in the top-100 rankings, which include institutions from all over the country.
The event, which runs Oct. 19-Dec. 30, features individuals or teams working toward a collective fundraising goal and running a 5K from anywhere in the world. Goulet and Team SNHU, which included 35 participants and a pair of SNHU's Team IMPACT matches, ran their 5K on campus, finishing at Ouellette Stadium, on Sunday (Oct. 19).
Team IMPACT is a non-profit organization that improves the quality of life for children facing serious illness and disability by matching them with collegiate athletic teams. SNHU has had 19 matches since its partnership with Team IMPACT began in 2012. They currently have three matches on their rosters.
