Hannah Sippel (Chester, N.H.) has qualified for the 400m at the New England Championships by winning her preliminary heat Friday at the Reggie Lewis Center in Roxbury, Mass.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Sippel ran a 58.73 for the 400m, the fifth fastest time in qualifying. The top eight runners advance to Saturday's final.
- Sippel also competed in the 200m finishing 14th at 26.15. Junior Hope Sinclair (Hampton, N.H.) finished up in 26.66.
- Freshman Erika Wojcik (North Andover, Mass.) just missed qualifying in the 800m, but did run a new PR of 2:21.17 while finishing tenth.
