NOTES
- This was the inaugural Ed Daniels Invitational. Last June, we lost a very dear member of our family with the passing of Coach Ed Daniels. Ed started the cross country program at SNHU, and in 2014, initiated a Women's Track & Field program, served first as a volunteer coach and then formally joining the program as a throws coach. Ed was a competitive thrower himself, and had a 52- year long track & field career. The throws area at the Stadium was dedicated to Coach Daniels during homecoming in 2022.
- Schofield, a member of the women's soccer team, competed for track & field for the first time.
- The Penmen used the meet to honor the program seniors, Tori Allen (Litchfield, N.H.), Morgan Cooledge (Westbrook, Maine), Obernesser, and Wiersma.
- UMass Lowell had the top score (146) on men's side and Saint Anselm College was first (152.5) on the women's side with the Penmen second (139).
WHAT'S NEXT
- SNHU will compete at meets at Merrimack College (Thursday) and UMass-Lowell (Friday and Saturday).
- The Northeast-10 Outdoor Track & Field Championship will be hosted by SNHU at Ouellette Stadium on May 2-3, 2025.
