Sophomore Jordyn Carroll (Moultonborough, N.H.) racked up eight kills, but the Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team lost a pair of matches at the Denton Volleyfest. SNHU lost, 3-0, to the University of Arkansas at Monticello and host Texas Woman's University on Saturday at Kitty Magee Arena.
NOTES
- This was the first time SNHU had met either of the two programs.
- Senior Brooke Vaughan (Truckee, Calif.) was named to the All-Tournament Team. She collected 26 digs in the two matches.
- Senior Alexandra Friebolin (Plant City, Fla.) led the way against UAM with six kills, while freshman Sophie Chevalier (Charlton, N.Y.) added five kills and six digs.

- The Penmen are back in action Wednesday, Sept. 17 (6 p.m.) when they travel across town to Saint Anselm College.
- SNHU is back home Tuesday, Sept. 23 (6 p.m.) when it plays host to Assumption at the Field House.
