NO. ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse team was selected seventh in the 2026 NE10 Preseason Coaches' Poll that was released Thursday afternoon.
SNHU collected 36 points, while Adelphi University, the reigning NE10 Champions, gathered all nine possible first-place votes and 81 points to finish ahead of Pace University, which collected the remaining first-place vote and 73 points. Saint Anselm College placed third with 62 points, with Bentley University (54), Assumption University (48) and Southern Connecticut State University (44) slotting in fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively. Saint Michael's College (22), Franklin Pierce University (20) and American International College (10) rounded the poll out.

Carissa Medeiros is back for her fifth season, following a season in which the Penmen finished 7-10, including 3-7 in the NE10 to earn the No. 8 seed in the NE10 Championship. The Penmen return six of their top nine scorers from a year ago, though they will have to deal with the graduation of three of their top four point-getters, including leading scorer
Katelyn Hadden, who has joined the coaching staff as an assistant. Sophomore

Corrina Moulton (Barre, Vt.; 1-6, 15.03 GAA, .406 SV%) are the two returning goalkeepers on the roster.
The Penmen open the season Saturday, Feb. 21 (1 p.m.) when they play host to Mercy University at Ouellette Stadium.
