Women's Cross Country Competes at New England Championship

COMPLETE RESULTS 

BOSTON - Freshman Emma Lundberg (Vinalhaven, ME) and senior Svea Dellea-Messner (Windham, NH) posted two of the top 11 times in Southern New Hampshire University women's cross country history as the Penmen competed at the New England Championship at Franklin Park Saturday.  As a team SNHU finished 39th.

Lundberg finished the five-kilometer course in a time of 20:06, good for the third-fastest time in program history and a 161st place finish overall.  Dellea-Messner ran a personal-best time of 20:33, while freshman Jacquelyn Dussault (Manchester, NH) ran a time of 20:59.

Melissa Hurley (Ashaway, RI) finished in a time of 22:14, while Jennifer Adams (Standish, ME) rounded out the Penmen finishers with a time of 25:09.

SNHU returns to action in two weeks when it competes at the Northeast-10 Championships on Saturday, October 25 at Saint Michael's College.
