Women's Cross Country 12th at Northeast-10 Championship

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Freshman Emma Lundberg (Vinalhaven, ME) finished 32nd overall to lead Southern New Hampshire University to a 12th place finish at the 2008 Northeast-10 Women's Cross Country Championship held at Saint Michael's College Saturday.  For Lundberg, it matched the third-fastest time in program history, a mark she also ran two weeks ago at the New England Championship.

Jacquelyn Dussault (Manchester, NH) was the next highest finisher for the Penmen, as she traversed the five-kilometer course in 20:45 to place 57thSvea Dellea-Messner (Windham, NH) placed 67th with a time of 21:01.

Melissa Hurley (Ashaway, RI) finished 80th with a time of 21:18 while Jennifer Adams (Standish, ME) finished in a time of 24:30 to finish 126th overall.

The SNHU women's cross country team closes out the 2008 season at the NCAA East regional in Boston November 9.
