PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - Host Pace University swept a Northeast-10 baseball doubleheader from Southern New Hampshire University by scores of 21-3 and 10-1 Saturday afternoon at Finnerty Field.  The Setters improved to 14-8 overall and 4-0 in the NE-10, while the Penmen are now 2-13 and 0-7 in the league.

In game one, SNHU jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the second when Scott Strong (Naperville, IL) and Bob Wronski (Arlington, MA) had back-to-back one-out singles.  Both scored when Joe Santos (Holliston, MA) reached on a throwing error.  Pace scored five runs in the bottom of the frame to take a 5-2 lead, but the Penmen would get one back in the top of the third when Bill Murray (Canton, MA) led off with a single and scored on a double by Jeff Giannino (Beverly, MA).  Pace scored three more times in the third to take a 8-3 lead.

Strong led SNHU with a pair of hits in the opener.
