PLEASANTVILLE,
N.Y. - Pace University completed a three-game sweep of
Southern New Hampshire University in Northeast-10 baseball with a
10-4 victory at Finnerty Field on Sunday afternoon. The
Setters are now 15-8 and 5-0 in the league, while the Penmen now
stand at 2-14 and 0-8 in the league.
Pace took a 4-0 lead in the top of
the second (SNHU played as the home team as the game was originally
scheduled to be played at SNHU), and built a 7-1 lead after four
innings. JJ Conrad led Pace with three hits as the hosts
outhit the Penmen 14-6.
Eric Pelletier
(Beverly, MA) had a pair of hits for SNHU including a leadoff
double in the fourth inning.
Southern New Hampshire returns to
action Tuesday when it travels to American International College
for a 3:30 contest.
