ALBANY, N.Y. - Led by a sweep of all six singles matches, the Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team captured its third straight match, dispatching The College of Saint Rose in Northeast-10 action Sunday afternoon.  The Penmen improved to 4-3 overall and in the NE-10, while the Golden Knights are now 3-7 and 2-7 in the league.

Posting singles victories for SNHU were Catalina Echeverry (Cali, Colombia) at No. 1, Lauren Nigrelli (Westerly, RI) at No. 2, Kristen Franco (Bedford, NH) at No. 3, Juliet Verhofstad (Plymouth, NH) at No. 4, Melissa Ramos (Stoughton, MA) at No. 5 and Amanda Nason (Center Sandwich, NH) at No. 6.   Verhofstad and Alison Waring (Westboro, MA) teamed up for a win at second singles, while Ramos and Nason improved to 6-0 at third doubles this season with a win.

Southern New Hampshire returns to action Tuesday when it hosts Stonehill College for a 3:30 match.
