MANCHESTER, N.H. -
The Southern New Hampshire University women's cross country team
finished sixth out of seven schools at the Shacklette Invitational
hosted by Saint Anselm College on Saturday morning.
Senior Svea
Dellea-Messner (Windham, NH) led the Penmen as she
finished 14th overall with a time of 21:21 over the five
kilometer course, faster than any race she ran in 2007.
Freshman Emma Lundberg (Vinalhaven, ME) placed
16th overall with a time of 21:32, while classmate
Jacquelyn Dussault (Manchester, NH), a graduate of
Manchester Memorial, finished 27th with a time of 22:22.
Sophomore Melissa
Hurley (Ashaway, RI) placed 43rd with a time of
23:00, while Allison Trafton (Salem, NH) was
53rd with a time of 26:08. Jennifer
Adams (Standish, ME) rounded out the Penmen finishers with
a time of 26:34.

Saturday at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational.
