Women's Cross Country Fourth at Bryant

COMPLETE RESULTS

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Freshman Emma Lundberg (Vinalhaven, ME) ran a time of 21:38 to pace the Southern New Hampshire University women's cross country team to a fourth place finish out of six schools at the Bryant Invitational on Saturday.

Lundberg placed 20th overall on the five kilometer course.  Svea Dellea-Messner (Windham, NH) was SNHU's next-highest finisher, placing 24th in a time of 21:55.  Jacquelyn Dussault (Manchester, NH) was 25th, two seconds behind Dellea-Messner, while Melissa Hurley (Ashaway, RI) was 30th in a time of 22:42.

Allison Trafton (Salem, NH) was 38th in a time of 26:36 while Jennifer Adams (Standish, ME) was 39th, coming in at 27:13.

Southern New Hampshire returns to action next Saturday when it competes in the Pop Crowell Invitational at Gordon College.
