Women's Cross Country Competes at NCAA East Regional

COMPLETE RESULTS

BOSTON, Mass. - Emma Lundberg (Hebron, N.H.) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's cross country team finished in 29th place out of a field of 178 runners in the NCAA Division II Cross Country East Regional held today at Franklin Park.  Having only four runners competing in today's race, the Penmen did not post a team score

Three Penmen runners finished within the top third of all competitors, as Lundberg led the SNHU women's cross country team with a time of 24:28 for the 6k course. Christina Montefusco (Danvers, Mass.) finished in 41st place with a time of 24:49, and Melissa Hurley (Ashaway, R.I.) completed her run with a time of 25:07, placing her 50thJacquelyn Dussault (Manchester, N.H.) rounded out the Penmen squad with a time of 26:10, finishing up 82nd in the field.
