BROOKVILLE, N.Y. - Host
C.W. Post swept both ends of a baseball doubleheader with Southern
New Hampshire University Saturday afternoon, taking the first game
3-1 and posting a 3-0 win in the nightcap. The Pioneers
improved to 2-11 overall, while the Penmen slip to 1-8.
In the first game, SNHU jumped out
to a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Chris O'Neil
(Chelmsford, MA) led off the game with a double, then advanced to
third on a groundout by Tim Rines (Merrimack,
NH). O'Neil would score on a passed ball. C.W. Post

out the scoring.

in the opener, while Eric Pelletier
(Beverly, MA) had the other. Ryan Quinn (Lebanon, CT)
started for SNHU and allowed just five hits, not allowing a hit
after C.W. Post's rally in the second. Bobby Kay earned the
win on the mound for the Pioneers.
In game two, C.W. Post took a 1-0
lead in the bottom of the second. Southern New Hampshire
threatened in both the fourth and fifth innings, placing runners on

were snuffed out. The Pioneers would then score two more
times in the bottom of the sixth.
