MANCHESTER, N.H. - Mary Maloney scored a game-high five goals to lead seventh-ranked Stonehill College to an 18-7 Northeast-10 women's lacrosse victory over Southern New Hampshire University Monday afternoon at Larkin Field.  The Skyhawks, who have now won 82 straight NE-10 regular season games dating back to the 2000 season, improved to 4-1 overall and 4-0 in the NE-10, while the Penmen saw a three-game win streak snapped as they are now 4-3 overall and 1-1 in the league.

Stonehill, which defeated SNHU in last seasons' NE-10 championship game, also got three goals and three assists from Michelle Kelly and three goals and two assists from Leyla Kuz-Dworzak.  Sarah Galligan added three goals.

SNHU trailed 5-1 midway through the first half, but two Mongeau goals 1:25 apart, the second coming at the 10:02 mark, cut it to 5-3.  The two teams would combine for three goals in the final 54 seconds of the half, with Galligan scoring with 54 seconds to play.  Parro scored 16 seconds later for the Penmen to cut the lead to two, but Galligan scored again 15 seconds before intermission for a 7-4 halftime score.

Murphy would cut it to a two-goal game again 1:14 into the second half, but the Skyhawks would reel off the next five goals to take a 12-5 lead with 16:52 left on a Galligan score.  Stonehill closed out the game by scoring the final four goals.
