lead to two 25 seconds later on Baillaregeon's fourth of the game,
and would score the final three goals of regulation, with Ashley
Moirano scoring with 34 seconds left to force overtime.
In overtime, Franklin Pierce
controlled the draw, but turned the ball over 40 seconds into its
possession. Rotolo would score with 1:48 left in the first
three-minute session, and after Lucretia Joy
(Portland, ME) controlled the ensuing draw for the Penmen, SNHU was
content to run out the clock. Kraus would control the draw at
the start of the second overtime and the guests would control
possession the rest of the way.
Franklin Pierce led 2-1 5:25 into
the game, but the Penmen would gradually pull away and built a 9-5
lead with 8:51 left on a goal by Rotolo. Stille would make it
9-6 with 22 seconds left before halftime, but the Penmen would
score twice in a 14-second span early in the second half to take an
11-6 lead on Mongeau's goal 1:38 in.
