PHILADELPHIA - Junior Amber Chandronnait (Bow, N.H.) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team, captured the singles title at the Wilson/ITA East Regional Sunday afternoon.  With the win, Chandronnait, who won the singles title at the event for the second straight year, advances to the National Small College Championship next month.  That event will be held in Mobile, Alabama from October 15-18.

Chandronnait, who was the tournament's top seed, captured the title with a 7-5, 7-5 win over Ola Roberts of Concordia College.  In Sunday morning's second round, she topped another Concordia player, Cristina Oliveira, 7-6, 6-3 . Oliveria was the tournament's No. 4 seed.
