COMPLETE RESULTS

DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Buoyed by a sixth-place finish by junior Emma Lundberg (Hebron, N.H.), the Southern New Hampshire University women's cross country team finished 14^th out of 39 schools at Saturday's UMass Dartmouth Shriners Invitational.

Lundberg, who was named the Northeast-10 Runner of the Week on Tuesday, bettered her own school record with an 18:16 5K effort.  She bested her previous record of 19:03 established at last season's Pop Crowell Invitational.

Freshman Madeline Hayes (Newington, Conn.) was the next-highest finisher for SNHU, placing 75^th with a time of 20:03.  Melissa Hurley (Ashaway, R.I.) was 93^rd with a 20:17 effort, while Christina Montefusco (Danvers, Mass.) posted a time of 20:20 to come in 97^th overall. 

Christina Powell (Granby, Mass.) ran a 21:34 to come in 181^st.  Jacquelyn Dussault (Manchester, N.H.) finished seven seconds back of Powell to place 189^th.

The Southern New Hampshire University women's cross country team returns to action next Saturday when it competes at the Codfish Bowl at Boston's Franklin Park.
