WENHAM, Mass. – Sophomore
Madeline Hayes (Newington, Conn.) finished
9th posting a career-high 19:49 time to lead the Penmen
to a 14th place finish out of 26 schools at the Pop
Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon College Saturday.
Kelsey Parker (Tewksbury, Mass.) finished the
5K race 69th with a time of 21:32, while Melissa
Stacom (Massapequa, N.Y.) came in just six seconds after
Parker with a time of 21:38.
Jacquelyn Dussault (Manchester, NH) placed
135th overall with a time of 23:21, while Laura
DiPietro (Auburn, N.H.) was 189th, recording a
time of 25:17. Sarah Kennedy (Appleton,
Maine) came in 202nd with a time of 25:58.
Southern New Hampshire returns to action next Saturday when it
competes at the New England Championships held at Franklin Park in
Boston. The race is set to start at 12:30 p.m.
