PHILADELPHIA – The Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team improved to 2-0 with an 8-1 win over Holy Family University Friday afternoon. The Penmen improved to 2-0 on the season, while the Tigers are now 4-2.
In singles action the Penmen swept all six matches. No. 2 Amanda Albuquerque (Weymouth, Mass.) rallied in her match against Jin Querubin, falling 3-6 in the first set before earning the victory by scores of 7-5 and 11-9.
Southern New Hampshire returns to action this weekend at the ITA East Regional.
