DARTMOUTH, Mass.—Senior Emma
Lundberg (Hebron, N.H.) finished 22nd out of
258 runners with a time of 19:22 in the UMass Dartmouth
“Shriners” Cross Country Invitational on Saturday
afternoon to lead the Penmen of Southern New Hampshire University
to a 18th place finish.
Sophomore Madeline Hayes (Newington, Conn.) was
SNHU's second-best finisher on the afternoon, running at
20:09 and finishing in 58th overall.
Christina Powell (Granby, Mass.) clocked in at
20:55, while Melissa Stacom (Massapequa, N.Y.) and
Kelsey Parker (Tewksbury, Mass.) finished seconds
apart at 21:21 and 21:27, respectively. Jacquelyn
Dussault (Manchester, N.H.) rounded out the Penmen runners
with a time of 22:25.
The Penmen, who finished with an average time of 20:39 in
today's race, return to action next weekend when they race in
the Codfish Bowl at Franklin Park in Boston. Race time is
slated for 12:30 p.m.
