JAMESVILLE, N.Y. - The Southern New Hampshire
women's cross country team placed 13th out of 16 teams at the
Northeast-10 Conference Championship hosted by Le Moyne College
Saturday. Stonehill took the championship while placing first and
winning its fourth straight title.
Madeline Hayes (Newington, Conn.) was the first
finisher for the Penmen while placing 34th and running the 5k in
20:07. Stacey Wojcik (Wrentham, Mass.) would
finish 55th with a time of 20:53, and Christina
Montefusco (Danvers, Mass.) placed 62nd and crossed the
finish line at 20:59.
The Penmen return to action November 4 when they travel to
Nashua, New Hampshire for the NCAA East Regionals for a 1:00 p.m.
start time.
