ALBANY, N.Y. -  The Southern New Hampshire women's tennis team defeated The College of Saint Rose Monday by a score of 9-0. The Penmen are now 4-1 overall and 4-0 in the league. Saint Rose drops to 0-6 overall and 0-6 in conference play.

No. 1 singles Alena Mukdaprakorn (Hartford, Conn.) came out on top over Jennifer Crego with set scores of 6-0 and 6-0. Diana Vamvakitis (Wading River, N.Y.) defeated Lauren Romine in the second singles position with scores of 6-0, 6-0, and Amanda Albuquerque (Weymouth, Mass.) got the win over Sarah Klein in the third spot with scores of 6-2 and 6-0. The fourth, fifth, and sixth singles players for SNHU all defeated their opponents while not losing one set each.

In doubles play, Mukdaprakorn and Vamvakitis defeated Crego and Romine 8-2 in the first position, while No. 2 doubles Albuquerque and Yolanda Green (Springfield, Mass.) earned the win over Paige Southwick and Klein 8-1. Kirsten Jean (Bedford, N.H.) and Jamie Hann (Westhampton, N.Y.) defeated Alyssa Haddad and Maggie Moran by an 8-0 score in the third doubles position.
