MELBOURNE, Fla. – In a battle of nationally-ranked women's tennis teams, No. 36 Florida Tech posted a 7-2 victory over No. 45 Southern New Hampshire University Tuesday evening. The Panthers improve to 6-4, while the Penmen are now 7-3 on the season.
SNHU picked up a pair of singles victories, with Diana Vamvakitis (Wading River, N.Y.) earning a win at No. 3 and Kirsten Jean (Bedford, N.H.) emerging victorious at No. 6.
Southern New Hampshire wraps up its four-match Florida swing Friday when it faces Grand Valley State University in an 8:00 am match.
